Live reviews
First time seeing them - absolutely loved the show. Great energy from every band member and they appeared to be completely in sync. This team is very clearly on a roll and you can tell they are just having a blast up there. Dorothy's vocals were on the money and the guys behind her were also dead-on. I have to admit I was first captivated by the lead singer's unique vocal characteristics but was very pleasantly surprised that the band took no back seat to her - they were nails. Having heard the recorded stuff only, didn't know what to expect in a live show. Very impressed; highly recommend.

I went to see Dorothy at the Spokane Knitting Factory, and it was the best concert I've seen in a while and I go to a lot of concerts. My wife won the "Grope and Grub" with Dorothy from Rock 94.5 Spokane, so earlier in the day we had lunch and watched a live acoustic performance of 2 songs then we got our pictures taken with her. It was a real treat as my wife and I really love Dorothy. She is old skool rock and roll, the kind of music hippies would like to have been groovin to back in the day.

I was so excited to hear Dorothy would be an opening act at the Halestorm concert and wad not disappointed at all! Dorothy and the guys put on a great show! While waiting for the show to began I discovered several people who were unfamiliar with the band and assured them they would be fans by the 2ND song. Dorothy and the guys kept me true to my word and earned themselves a lot of fans while in Tulsa. Plus they did autographs, tooks pics, and talked with their fans after their set. I love them even more now!!!
The band sounded amazing live. Probably 2/3 of the set was new songs which is sort of a mixed bag because it's cool to hear new stuff (the new album will be amazing if these teasers are to be believed!) but it would have been cool to have more stuff to sing along to that was familiar from the released album. That aside: the stage banter was good, Dorothy sounded fantastic, and the whole band was fun to watch.
Dorothy rocked the stage, she was absolutely amazing and flawless. If you love rock then Dorothy is the show to go to. Can't wait for her to come back to town.
I was in complete awe of her. Her vocals are phenomenal and she is so beautiful. The Band kept the energy up and the banter between band members between songs was pretty fun too.
Great great great show.
Since that was my 3rd "Dorothy" show in less than a year, that alone should spell it out-she's kicking ass & taking names, check them(The Band "Dorothy") out and purchase "Rock Is Dead", but seeing them Live, well, you'll see and maybe you'll get lucky like me and have a couple members from another kick-ass band standing right beside ya(Joe and Lzzy Ring a Bell)?
A show with a lot of energy and great performance. Dorothy has a great voice that commands the stage, the drummer can hold down a sick beat, and the strings section can really riff. The only bad thing: one friend commented is that she wish they performed "Missile."
BADASS. Woman's got mad vocals, the band nailed it and the whole damn show was IT! I can't recommend seeing them live more. Travel even, it's absolutely worth it. If you love rock n' roll- Dorothy is THE band for you. One hell of a show. 5 stars!
I wish I could write a review; the show was cancelled 20 minutes before we arrived. I believe that there could've been notice much sooner that she was cancelling. I would love to see her live but am not sure I will buy tickets again.
