E-type

Let’s talk about E-Type, the Eurodance artist from Sweden who has been in the Eurodance scene for over twenty years now. He takes to the stage this evening following his backing singers, looking a little bit like he’s at the wrong gig. Eurodance definitely isn’t my cup of tea but I can appreciate that E-Type knows exactly what he’s doing when it comes to his craft that is Eurodance. His vocals in this first Swedish number one single, “This Is the Way” are backed up by two female singers who take the lead in the choruses. E-Type’s songs are definitely infectious pop songs, and cater to this audience fantastically.
The atmosphere is quite simply electric, with punters singing along, up out of their feet, dancing and clapping along. “Free Flying Like a Demon” is another number one mid set that brings this house down with great style. The tempo is very upbeat with people waving their arms above their head, taking in this huge party vibe orchestrated by E-Type.
