I love jazz music. I love writing about it, I wouldn’t dare write it, but of course I love listening to it and enjoying it.
Lets talk about the Jazz virtuoso, Aaron Goldberg, who has been a professional for fifteen years now. Her began studying piano at the young age of seven and was fortunate enough to take his profound talent to Harvard where he graduated from in 1996. The audience this evening are well dressed and respectful, all sat with programmes in this wonderful open air amphitheatre. Goldberg is set to perform some of the works of his albums, “Turning Point” “Unfolding” “Worlds” and most recently “Home”.
He walks out suited and booted and ready to go. It is fantastic to hear him talk about the inspiration behind each song, discussing with the audience where the pieces begin and the journey that he takes us on throughout the various movements. His touch on the keyboard is just magical, capturing the hearts of everyone in the audience. You could hear a pin drop in the rests. At the end of the performance, of course he receives a well deserved standing ovation.
