See all your opportunities to see them live below!Since the real thing isn't possible anymore this is as close as it will get! Still not bored at all after seeing them 3 times. Great musicians, great band, great music.
Where: Audio, Glasgow – 27/9/14 As far as tribute bands go, there are a fair few questionable acts around, and then there are phenomenal ones. Australian Pink Floyd, Bootleg Beatles, and Complete Stone Roses to name a few, show how great a height a tribute band can reach, and Letz Zep fall into that category. Not only do they look the part, they sound the part, too. Singer Billy Kulke’s resemblance to Robert Plant is uncanny as are his vocals, but it was Andy Gray who stole the show with his flawless guitar skills, particularly on Whole Lotta Love and Stairway to Heaven. Tearing through the bands back catalogue, the sound was tearing through the tiny venue, with many of the audience getting right behind the band, sharing a few jokes in between songs. If you closed your eyes you would think it was Led Zep themselves on stage playing classics, Since I’ve Been Loving You and Ramble On. The set lasting almost two hours was the closest you would ever get to seeing the real thing, and the band left the stage in style with an electric Rock n Roll. For any die hard fan of the band who never seen the real deal, Letz Zep are a close second, and are highly recommended. Jordon Forbes
This is the second time we have seen this band. They seemed even better than the other time. A great mix of Led Zep classics and one or two lesser known tracks. A nice acoustic set in the middle broke the night up beautifully. Lead guitarist was bang on with the riffs and solos and the lead singer just loves strutting his stuff. I would recommend any rock fan to try and catch this band. It makes for a great night being able to listen to great music that we all know and love. Only down side of the night was the choice of venue. Audio is not the best place situated under the railway bridge it obviously suffers from major dampness. Pick a better place next time lads! Overall 9/10 for a most enjoyable night.
