Cataldo

I first discovered Cataldo when listening to KEXP one day and the music instantly got my attention as pop brilliance. I bought the album the next day-and to my surprise they were included in the 2014 Doe Bay line-up. Their show was transcending, and the highlight of the concert series for me. There is no way the show at The Sunset Tavern could compare, but it was a great show as well. The harmony between Eric and Matt is perfection. The only disappointment was that they didn't play "The Beast". But I saw a couple of grandmas in the audience (family?) and I suspect this may be why. Mother fuckers! And thanks to Eric for taking the time to pose in a picture with me.

Cataldo has continued to exceed my expectations as musicians and performers. I have seen them twice now and both times Eric Anderson has left me speechless and in awe. He is so personable and down to earth; if you have any extra time after their performance, spend some time chatting with Eric and the band. Nothing but cordial vibes with them. As someone who never expected to see my favorite musician/band live even once, each of my experiences have been incredible to say the least.
