PAWS

PAWS! like that of a movie star pampered puppy that just draws you in with such irresistible eyes, this band manages to do the same with their gentle riffs and calming lyrics. 3 friends make up this Glasgow based band and I think that's what allows this group to have such a natural connection with each other and the audience members. Such intimacy is placed within their words, holding no emotion back as each lyric tells a tale of alienation, hope and wonder. I am glad that no other artists come close to what these guys are capable of as it only adds to what is a unique well rounded sound they have become. The atmosphere of an PAWS show if described as a season would be Spring, in which you didn't know whether it was going to be Summer or Winter next. As the band dabbles in warming sounds which melt in your mind such as 'Tongues' but also ice cold riffs which remind you of a lost loved turned bitter in the form of their song 'Someone new' both from their latest album 'Youth Culture Forever' which if you haven't heard already, demands your attention ASAP! All in all, PAWS are a great band both live and through their recorded material, something which can not be said for every other artist out there, look no further if you want; lyrics with meaning, melodies with memories and acceptance as PAWS, is the band for you.

Awesome these guys from Glasgow. I am looking forward to the new third longplayer later this year. The new single is brilliant. Don't miss them to see their live on stage at the first row in a small venue.

Great show at inmate venue, played mostly new material, but still stunning performance than the less. Venue had a good decor made it feel like a real staple of neighborhood.
