QUEER WE GO PRESENTS
Losing sleep
Right out of my favourite musical town in the UK, Kingston Upon Thames, their pop punk melodies and emo riffs hit you in the gut in the best way possible. They're the kind of band that will put your FOMO to one side for a set to remind you that you're not on your own. And you're not. You're in a room full of people listening to some of the best emo pop punk coming out of the DIY scene right now.
Happy accidents
The vocals in this three-piece indie-punk band from London are gonna remind you of something great, but I can't put my finger on what. The closest I can come is that time I shot BB pellets at a lampshade while listening to The Cure in an act of teenage rebellion, but they're not really like that at all. They are, however, singing some fantastic nuggets of wisdom at you over lush guitar with awesome harmonies and class drums to tie it all together. If I imagined the soundtrack to a film about my younger self and then made it 100x better, Happy Accidents would have written it.
