We are super excited to announce that Tulgey Beat is releasing our debut album, Out of Context, digitally and on vinyl! This album is the result of many months of hard work and we plan to celebrate in style.

To be able to produce a vinyl record of our music is a dream come true for us and we would love to share the experience with as many of you as possible. We are very proud of what we have created and we want to show you all.

Kicking off the night will be the incredible Andreza Eo Pandeiro, enchanting us with soulful Brazilian music. After she has warmed us up, we will take to the stage.

After the main event, DJ Allynx will keep the vibes alive with funky grooves and tasteful beats at the after-party!

Out of the boiling ooze of Tulgey Beat comes a genre mashing collection of new material. Out of Context is the debut album from Berlin based seven piece groove machine Tulgey Beat - a six track album blending global genres and influences, governed by the overarching premise that any idea or inspiration is a valuable addition to the great musical stew.

Out of Context is the product of two years of evolving, sculpting and bringing into focus the sound that is the combination of our collective influence. The musical language of Out of Context is written against a backdrop of love for the grooves of afrobeat, ethiojazz and west African folk music. Upon this backdrop, elements of spiritual jazz, cosmic rock and drone based music are brought together to create the distinctive sound of Tulgey Beat - Tulgey being a word from the universe created by Lewis Caroll to describe the deep, dark woods which held the mysterious beasts of wonderland, an easy place to find yourself lost.
