The Others are so fun to see live. They're like a group of rowdy teenage boys who just don't care what other people think about them. I love that about them. They're an awesome indie rock band to see live because they don't mind getting involved with the audience.
I think to them it's not a real performance if they're not having fun with the people who came out to see them. When I saw them, the lead singer Dominic Masters actually jumped over the barricade and sang to the fans. Sometimes, he got right in people's faces. I was actually really surprised that he was able to keep singing into someone's face that way. I remember thinking it was so cool that this shaggy white guy was willing to simply rock with us. He gave high fives to all the crowd surfers, and there were a lot of crowd surfers! My best friend got lifted into the crowd and actually got to touch Dominic Masters' hand. It was simply insane.
I've never been at a performance, where the singer is so involved with the crowd. The more he egged the crowd on, the more energy that pulsated through us all.
