Nick Harper is a phenomenon like no other. A Nick Harper gig is a bit like doing something new, every time. Aside from a virtuoso performance with genius guitar and some of the best songs ever written in the last 30 years you don't really know what to expect... This time it was an incredible piece of social folk/ pop history, the innovation that was the flat-top guitar, the invention of DADGAD and the influence of an amazing set of players who came together at 48 Fordwych Road.

If it were possible to package Nick Harper up and bring him out for the odd irreverent moment I think it's something that could really catch on...
