Marques Houston, Tamar Braxton, Jaydon, Sammie, and Day26

Marques Houston’s performance in 2005 for the Scream IV Tour may have happened years ago, but is still an unforgettable one. His show was definitely dedicated to the ladies with the sex appeal he exhibited. For example, when Marques performed hit, “Naked,” a black box was brought on stage. He stepped inside; the audience could see his face, chest, and legs, but it covered his pelvic area. MH actually got naked on the stage and threw his underwear at us. A few women went bananas trying to grab the souvenir. The sexy singer came a long way from being the annoying next door neighbor, Roger, from 90’s television show “Sister, Sister.” No one was saying “Go home Roger” that night; the ladies did not want him to leave. Marques Houston made the show fun with the lively dancing and great moves he has to songs like “Clubbin” and “Pop That Booty.” The audience was able to be more participatory at this point and he made sure we danced along with him too. It slowed down with songs such as “Favorite Girl” and “That Girl,” which are more on the sweet and romantic side. This concert was at the highlight of MH’s career, but he is still releasing albums. Along with new releases and his classics, I am sure that he can still throw on a heck of a concert.

256) Tamar Braxton With Grammy nominations under her belt, the American pop and R&B singer/songwriter Tamar Braxton has had an incredibly successful career. Following in the footsteps of a successful sibling is always a challenge, but Tamar didn’t let her R&B sister Toni Braxton over shadow her, ad she broke away from their family band and signed to DreamWorks.
Although her debut album wasn’t a commercial success at all, she persevered, and it paid off with the release of her second album Love and War. She opened her show with the title track from the album, and blew the audience away with her great dance moves and her high range. She was great at interacting with her backing dancers to create an exciting show to be a part of, as well as screaming out to the audience for us to copy her dance routine which was a lot of fun. She played a couple of older tracks from The Braxton’s days, as well as some of her original gospel tracks.
She gave us a sneak preview to a track from Winter Loversland which I’m now so excited for, because it sounded great. To make the show even better, the acoustics and visuals form the lighting and projectors were spot on, and made it even more exciting to watch.

I received no notification that he would not be in attendance. I would have at least expected an email or some kind of pre warning rather than attending and not even knowing until the show had ended that Sammie was not attending.

Employing some of the tightest harmonies and epic songs, let’s discuss, Day26, an American male R&B music group put together and manufactured in August 2007 by non other than P Diddy, who built this band from an MTV show called Making the Band 4. They have achieved some amazing success over the last six years with their debut album reaching number one and their sophomore album reaching number two. This band perform with nothing but swagger, with such a confidence about them on stage knowing exactly what they’re doing and how they’re going to execute it. Their ornamentation is tight, synchronizing them in harmony. “Imma Put It on Her” which features P Diddy & Yung Joc, is a special treat for he patrons tonight as they invite both of these huge artists onto the stage to perform with them, to and incredibly loud audience. “Let It Go” brings this house down with everyone on their feet from the start of the song until the end.
