‘If tomorrow never shows, I want you all to know, That I loved you all, you’re beautiful, And I had myself a ball’…these were the lyrics that rang out across the auditorium as Life of Agony launched straight into their track Weeds before even introducing themselves to the audience. The metal band who incorporate elements of thrash, alternative, and hardcore into their music have an eclectic sound that makes them stand out in comparison to many other bands in their genre.
The performance that they gave was absolutely outstanding, and the way that they put so much energy into their dancing and crowd surfing was so high that I was surprised that they were even able to maintain the musical performance that they did. Each musician gave an incredible performance, and their instrumental and vocal solos blew me away time and time again.
They played a great variety of their tracks, ranging from their early work back in the early 90s, right up to their more recent record. Of course the line up has had several alterations over the years, and seeing the original River Runs Red line up play once again was incredible.
