The French pop rock indie band Elephanz consists of two brothers, Jonathan on guitar, and Maxime on keys, and it’s evident from the way that they work so tightly together that they’ve been playing together since a young age, and their intertwining vocals and guitars are spot on. As well as the brothers, the two other band members that complete the group are incredibly talented and work as a group together wonderfully.
They opened with their track Time for a Change, and when they got to the catch chorus, Clement on the drums signalled for everyone to clap along whilst Maxime encouraged everyone to sing along. It was great to be included in the performance by joining in, and the group were super encouraging of this.
They played a great selection of their tracks, from their debut EP Ideal Roommates, up to Time for a Change album, which they played in its entirety. It was cool to hear them all play instrumental solos that don’t appear on the recordings of the tracks, and really demonstrated their talents.
