Gary Bartz

I become a lover of Gary Bartz in the 70's in college. I' ve seen him several times over the decades and had the great fortune to have him sit down with me and friends at Catalina's in Los Angeles when he was siding for McCoy Tyner. He hipped me to saying ie Miles music instead of calling it Jazz. Saw him in February in Portland. Praying he will come to Monterey Jazz Fest. Love you brother. Michael Moragne
