Here's a band I've wanted to see in concert ever since discovering their first album 'Our Mother Electricity'.
As expected, ATW did not disappoint and covered the high points from both their studio releases such as 'Mountain', 'Elk Blood Heart' and 'Death of Coyote Woman'.
For me, what sets ATW apart are their Southern gothic lyrics and use of soft/loud music passages. Great players, to be sure.
Got to meet some of the band before and after the show. Super nice Tennessee gentlemen. Asked about future plans and I was told that new material was in the works.
A must-see band IMHO that will be featured at the prestigious SBSX event this year.
Her concerts are always so personal and wonderful. She is incredibly talented and I was very emotional during the whole show. Her music is so unique and I was glad to be there.
The venue is cool and conveniently laid-out in an inverted slope kind of way that lets viewers in the back see the show very well. The sound is, however not the best, but is good (say 4/5 stars).
Great drinks at the bar, a bit more expensive than usual but hey, Munich beer is worth it.
