The Netherlands’ newest, hottest duo in the EDM world, Sick Individuals, claims on their site “Playing their “Sick” productions unleashes an incredible energy during their gigs, transporting their listeners to the heights of house music euphoria!” and they are not wrong. The duo has a fairly intricate stage setup and they draw a HUGE crowd. Instead of having an MC, they introduce themselves right at the start of the set. While behind all of their equipment, close ups show that they absolutely love what they get to do almost every night.
It is one gigantic dance, non- stop dance party. The transitions between song sets are flawless and do not interrupt your groove at all. Within their set they include original songs, as well as a ton of remixes. Their remixes are some of the best I’ve heard; but their best is their remix of Icona Pop’s “I Love It” because they took a dance song, and made it better! While you are surrounded by their music, you are sucked into a whole different world, with everyone around you joining in…almost like a secret party that’s not so secret when you realize how many people are surrounding you. When you leave you are out of breath, exhausted from dancing, but the happiest you could possibly be.
