Brooke Candy and Violet Chachki

Unusual and unforeseen traffic from SF to Oakland caused me to arrive during her set. She is one of my favs and I'm devastated that I missed Das Me, which I believe she played bc it was on her IG from the show the night before. First time seeing her and she was fantastic and commanded the stage. A great performer and I look forward to seeing her again.

One gripe I have: the show was in a classic theatre and Brooke - who was the opening act - performed her whole set in the sliver of the stage in front of the curtain. I go to a lot of shows and don't recall seeing that before, opening acts always have access to the stage or the majority of the stage. She's a wonderful performer, been around a while and has a nice catalog of music, it felt disrespectful of who she is as an artist to have her perform that way IMHO.
