Saxophonist Sandy Evans OAM and pianist Andrea Keller release Resonance on Friday 18 September 2026. The album grows out of their long-running duo and adds two singers, Kristin Berardi and Jenny Barnes, who answer the same texts in opposite ways. An eight-date national tour follows in October, from Adelaide to Wangaratta.

Resonance began as a conversation between Evans and Keller about what it takes to keep a creative life going across decades while caring for family, raising children, teaching and mentoring, and pushing against the glass ceiling women still meet in the jazz scene.

Keller and Evans composed the songs, setting new work by Michele Morgan, Hazel Smith and Keller herself beside poems by Sara Teasdale and Jeanie Greensfelder. Berardi sings the words in a written section and Barnes replies in a free section without them.
