I may not speak Italian, but I can still appreciate the hip-hop sounds of Club Dogo Originating out of Milan, and now consisting of Gue Pequeno, Jake La Furia, and Don Joe, the group has a massive following in their home country of Italy.
From start to finish they keep their lives set extremely engaging. They like to have a lot of call and answers between them and the crowds to get them pumped up and engaged. They utilize a lot of rap combined with vocal singing. One of them runs the tracks while the other two utilize the whole stage. For those of us who do not understand what they are rapping about, it doesn’t matter. They are another representation of the culture crossing ability of music. The emotion and energy that they put into their show is clear enough to anyone, and can allow anyone to relate to the song’s theme. To my surprise their fans and crowd range in a very large age range, but it also means to me that their music touches more lives than originally thought. Their fans seem to really love them, with a lot of people rapping a long with them for almost the entire set.
