Jeremy Olander

Bedroom producer Jeremy Olander has rapidly seen his star rise in the past few years. The house producer and DJ from Stockholm started to make tremors in the electronic dance scene when it quickly emerged that he had been signed to the legendary Eric Prydz’s label, Pryda Friends.

Since then, the Swede, who cites a range of influences such as Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso to Elvis Presley and east coast hip-hop, has built up a reputation as an incredible live DJ, and has been widely proclaimed as “the saviour of progressive house.”

Luckily I got to witness Olander’s skills at a festival in London this summer and he did not disappoint, playing back to back alongside label mate Fehrplay, the crowd lapped up his performance behind the decks, and danced away to the beats throughout the 2 hour set.

Effortlessly mixing a large amount of his own bouncy back catalogue, with tracks such as “Let Me Feel” and “Evade” into the likes of fellow artists Beamount Stanford and Adwer on his CDJ’s, with an incredible light show to boot, Jeremey Olander made sure the show was one not to forget, and provided the audience with a true audio and visual feast.
