Christopher Andrew "Christy" Moore can boast the accolade of Ireland's greatest living musician (well, in the eyes of RTÉ's People of the Year Awards). A man with a political voice and intelligent wit who often lends himself to social commentary has been a staple appearance on the live circuit since his career began in the 70s. He prides himself on being musician of the people so therefore feels obliged to continue to play to the masses despite nearing his 70th birthday.

With a number of banned songs, you wonder what tonight's setlist will contain. Christy does a fine job in selecting his very best work from across a good array of all the albums in his discography to entertain the crowd gathered. It is a testament to his songwriting skills and playing abilities as he captivates the whole room for a set comprising of over twenty tracks. There are no tricks or production values tonight, just sincere music with a number of underlying messages. He thanks the crowd sincerely at the finale as they cheer and applaud in huge force for the celebrated musician.
