Went to see the Seratones on Sunday, February 7th. They ROCKED THE HOUSE! They were the Grand Marshal's of the Highland Mardi Gras Parade. AJ Haynes with her beautiful voice is a delight to listen to with their own original songs making all who were within hearing distance dance out loud! Yes, they are true to their claim that they play rock n roll and they play that R&R quite magnificently! I must say I was impressed with the whole band and if that's what they do on the road, I'm so jealous I can't make every concert they play! I was almost brought to tears when they did a couple of tribute songs one being by David Bowie. The bass player, Adam,(who BTW, is a hellava bass player) had put RIP LEMMY on the back of his vintage 1975 Rickenbacker (sp) bass guitar. I'm proud of that young man! The drummer, Jesse, was in thee best form! So magical to listen to him. Not to leave out Conner, who can play that guitar like he sleeps with it! The crowd and I could not stop dancing, clapping, whistling, hollering, hula-hooping, (yeah, I said hula-hooping) their whole set. Beads were thrown, ahh. Nothing but a good time!
This is a tight band and if they play near you, don't miss them! You won't be sorry.
