Mason Musso rose to fame when he was in the band Metro Station with Trace Cyrus. (Miley’s bro). He has definitely aged a little bit since those days, with more facial hair and slicked back hair, but I guess that just isn’t relevant. Mason Musso is all about the heartfelt somewhat emotional lyrics. He is quite a dark character between songs with his deep drawling American accent, making quite a contrast to his singing voice, which is definitely on the more tenor side of things. “I Still Love You” is a strong song that definitely carries. It’s very well polished but I think it’s quite dated by about six years, as though his music didn’t really ever transcend but again, that is simply just my opinion, and it definitely isn’t what this screaming audience around me think. “Every Time I Touch You” again is a bit of a trip back to 2005 with the strong American accent, but it does the trick for this adoring audience this evening.
