As is her USUAL fare, ALICIA OLATUJA was an outstanding addition to the multi-talented show headlined by Gregoire Maret at St. Louis, Missouri's historic, Jazz at the Bistro. The songs were all dynamically written by Maret, but Alicia made them "sing" in her own various ranges & tones. She's added impressive scatting to his songs & her voical ranges are IMPRESSIVE as usual. She & Maret's band are in St. Louis for 4 days, two nightly...& many folks ... me included... are going back frequently. Good call by Jazz St. Louis. I understand, Alicia will do HER OWN show in February & April of 2018 at the Bistro!! I'm getting my group's tickets EARLY!
