Cornelius

I remember growing up and my brother was a huge fan of this band, Cornelius. So, when I saw they were playing at the state fair in town I decided to get tickets and invite my brother along. He had the time of his life and honestly, I had quite a good time myself!

Although I had briefly heard the music, most of it was unfamiliar to me but I found myself liking it. The band had a really good on stage presence and played really unique music.

The lead singer/member was playing guitar and he was very skilled at doing so. He played quite a long solo and the entire audience just listened and watched in awe as he strummed his fingers at impressive speeds across his guitar. It was sort of techno, rock and roll, and heavy metal mixture type of music, which I found interesting. If you are familiar with them, I'm sure you know what I mean.

The stage was set up with a video backdrop that had various pictures/numbers and other things flashing across it to go along with the speed of the music. That was a unique touch. Overall, I had a good time and the music was enjoyable.
