You are never too old to rock and roll, especially when you have a bit of a bluesy feel to your music as well. Such is the case with Elvin Bishop and his band. Having reached a height of popularity in the late 70s, they continue to perform live and still rock your heart out. It’s no surprise at all that in 1998 he was inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of fame. Being such a well-established artist, he draws a crowd of all ages. He also gets a great introduction from who ever it is that is hosting the particular event that he playing. Once he takes the stage, he thanks everyone for their long time love and support and starts the band playing. He really does have a great sense of music, a lot of jazz riffs into his rocking guitar. His vocals are okay, but its his guitar skills that really shred into your heart and soul. When he takes a solo, all you can do is close your eyes and be completely engulfed by the mesmerizing sounds. As soon as you open them, you realize that you are one among many in the crowd enjoying the music that way.
