Biografía
Born on 16 November 1989, Iamsu! became involved in music at the age of fourteen by “playing around with instruments and messing around with music.” He started rapping under the stage name Su and released his first mix tape entitled “Su! The Right Thing” on 4 July 2010. Two years later he released a second mix tape called “$uzy 6 Speed” that featured guests such as Juvenile, Problem and Wiz Khalifa. In 2013 he collaborated with Problem and released a mix tape entitled “Million Dollar Afro.” The album was named one of the best rap releases of 2013 by both Spin magazine and Stereogum. Following the release, the two set out on tour for ten stops.
In May 2013 Iamsu! set out on a headlining tour to promote his upcoming mix tape, “Kilt II,” which was later released in summer 2013. The album garnered high praise from some media outlets, such as Pitchfork Media who said that the album “doubles down on all of his strongest and most likeable qualities.” Later that year the group that he was a part of, HBK Group, released a compilation mix tape called “Gang Forever,” and in January 2014 Iamsu released a remix of YG’s “Who Do You Love.” In April he released his first debut studio album with the title “Sincerely Yours.”

The concert was real fun while it lasted. There was a small fight that broke out next to me during the show and Iamsu was not happy about it. I helped to break it up and then continued enjoying the rest of the show. I will say Iamsu killed it, there is no doubt about that. Those are the pros.
The cons
- Way too crowded in the standing area as I got trapped between hundreds of sweaty fans moshing each other around which took away from the musical experience
- I am not sure Casey Veggies even performed?
- I was highly disappointed with how short the concert was. I did not expect to be going home before 10:45pm.
The Under the Influence Tour was amazing! The best part was how fun it was. Everyone around me where having fun rapping and dancing hearing our favorite songs and such. The police were not too brutal but they where really strict about fights. Smoking was easy on the lawn and everyone was just turnt. Wiz did amazing! He always has Pittsburgh hyped when he is in town. Everyone enjoyed theirselves to the fullest. Food prices where high but other then that it was one of the best nights of my life. I'd recomend anyone to attend a concert at First Niagra
This guy knows how to pump up a crowd! Iamsu put on a great show last night. He performed his newer music and even a throw back song. the dj was on point and the 2 special guests killed it. Iamsu took a pic with the crowd forand put it on instagram and gave a shout out to his fellow Bay area artist, e40 and too short. When it was all over the crowd begged for more and began chanting "hbk gang" and "one more song" and he came out to give a ln amazing encore. All in all, check his tour dates and go see Iamsu!
The show was a lot of fun! The only thing that sucked was that half of my friends couldn't get in because supposedly the tickets were sold out for a week. There was nothing posted anywhere that the tickets were sold out when it said specifically on the website to purchase the tickets that you can buy them at the door. Other than that the catalyst was cool and iamsu put on an awesome performance!!
Iamsu is definitely somebody you have to see live! I was lucky enough to see him 2 days in a row. He hypes up the crowd so much and his special guest were off the chain. He is just talent all around him and the HBK. If you wanna check out new music that won't have you saying non sense he is the guy for you
